Dr Lim set up Lim Clinic & Surgery at Chai Chee back in 1972, after serving as a Medical Officer at Singapore General Hospital. In 1997, he obtained the higher degree of Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) from the National University of Singapore. Aside from practising at Lim Clinic & Surgery, he is involved in teaching medical students at the National University of Singapore and has served as an examiner for the National University of Singapore Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine examinations for the past few years. He is conversant in English, Mandarin, Teochew, Hokkien, Cantonese and Malay.
